Intercity Food Delivery AirAsia

Oh wow, this is something beyond my expectation as starting 15 August 2022, the food delivery platform of airasia Super App is kicking off its one-of-a-kind delivery service for selected areas in Klang Valley. Users can satisfy their Penang food cravings simply by clicking on the ‘Food’ icon on the app to experience the AirAsia Intercity Food Delivery.

If this does not satisfy your desire and cravings for some excellent Penang food, then the next best thing you can only do is fly up to Penang. So now, AirAsia has changed the game by offering this service through their food platform.

AirAsia Intercity Food Delivery

All meals will be prepared fresh and air-flown in strict hygienic conditions from Penang to the Klang Valley on selected weekly days, with affordable delivery fees of only RM5.99 per order. Orders close at 5.00 pm one (1) day before the scheduled delivery day. Users can pre-ordering their favourite meals up to 30 days in advance.

Tan Suan Sear, Regional Head of airasia food, said,

“Malaysia has some of the most renowned cuisines that the world celebrates, and people tend to go to great lengths to travel to find a fix for their food cravings. But with the launch of our intercity food delivery, we intend to fulfil your food cravings conveniently to your doorstep.

As the only food delivery platform in the same ecosystem as AirAsia’s extensive flight network, we are proud to introduce something unique in the food delivery scene – bringing food from around the world to you. Furthermore, our aim is to champion local hero merchants who can now tap on AirAsia’s ecosystem to reach a much wider audience and expand their deliveries beyond their city, as they can promote their products to millions of active airasia Super App users across the region.”

“As of today, we are proud to introduce some of the best meals that my hometown, Penang, offers. The new service will soon include food from other states in Malaysia to be delivered to more locations in the Klang Valley and beyond. We have successfully launched the same intercity food delivery service in Thailand where popular delicacies from Phuket are flown into Bangkok to great fanfare and interest of the diners,”.
