Welcome to www.David.my, a personal multi-blog that was previously known as Explorer Lifestyle before I converted it into my own name in early 2021. In doing this, I included my wife, Janice WKV, as the main editor for this travel site.
Her role here focuses on other genres, such as food, culture, heritage, photography, hotel reviews, etc. As it is not easy to handle so many writing genres, we often share writing tasks depending on the projects or trips we make.
Who is DAVID.MY?
David.my was incorporated during the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia and 2021. After a year of being locked down and unable to travel, I focused a little more on food, lifestyle, culture, and travel categories.
In a nutshell, www.David.my is a Malaysian lifestyle, food, travel and gadget blog site that highlights today’s trends in and around the country. Topics include travel, food, products, reviews, news and newsworthy and interesting promotions.
David initially started Explorer Lifestyle in March 2013, intending to be one of the top providers of lifestyle news around Malaysia and the world. However, his other platforms were slightly busier than usual, so he did not have much time for this back then; hence, he took a short break before returning with his wife, Janice, to restart this project.
Our travel website and blog business operates out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and we frequently travel around the country and region, exploring and discovering new destinations and providing content to our faithful readers.
The Malaysia Asia group is not new to this game, as we also own and operate Malaysia Asia, Bird Watching Asia, Green Daun, and numerous social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter. We have multiple Instagram accounts, but we choose not to focus on those because they do not convert. We prefer to use the IG accounts for our own personal satisfaction.
In addition, over the years of travel blogging, David has been awarded multiple tourism awards for the best travel blog, best tourism article, best tourism social media, etc. These awards are issued by actual tourism boards and the Ministry of Malaysia.
