Accor’s new Android App provides Passport to 570+ hotels in Asia Pacific

With tablet penetration and mobile bookings soaring across Asia Pacific, Accor has launched a new Android version of its Hotel Directory that allows users to carry detailed information on more than 570 Accor hotels, their event and leisure facilities, full-screen images, brand and loyalty information and much more at the touch of a button.

As the largest hotel operator in Asia Pacific, Accor offers users the ability to easily research and book the perfect hotel to suit their needs, whether for business or pleasure, with hotels in all key destinations across 16 countries.

“No other international hotel group offers more hotel rooms in Asia Pacific and this new app puts the whole network at the fingertips of users, no matter where they are, on the road or at home,” said Michael Parsons, Director of Marketing Support Asia Pacific. “

” This really is the best way to always have the most up-to-date details on Accor hotels in the region, because the information is automatically updated as our network continues to grow.”

Mr Gerard Guillouet, Senior Vice President of Accor Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore added: “The new app is not only a further commitment to the group’s sustainability promises via its Planet 21 commitments, by providing copious information in a paperless form, but the app allows users to download content so they can browse even when they are offline.”

Having proven extremely successful in its iPad incarnation, the Android version will suit many Asian nations, where Android operating systems are sometimes more popular.

Conclusion

The new app really allows users to learn more about Accor’s full spectrum of brands including Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis and Formule 1.

The app is free of charge and is available to download now at bit.ly/accorapp-android for Android users or bit.ly/accorapp for iPad users.
