AirAsia Drone and SRI College Drone Management Education
In a monumental collaboration aimed at nurturing talent and expertise in the dynamic realm of drone technology and propelling the future of drone management education in Malaysia, AirAsia Drone, a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital A Berhad and SRI College Malaysia, a leading private institution in management, have teamed up to offer a drone management programme.
The collaboration is designed to co-develop and establish a Diploma course in Drone Management by integrating AirAsia Drone’s Remote Pilot Certificate Competency — Basic (RCOC-B) course into the curriculum.
This comprehensive programme will give students a deep understanding of drone operations, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. Students enrolled in the diploma programme will have the unique opportunity to attain the RCOC-B certification, eventually enhancing their credentials and employability in the competitive drone industry.

Conclusion
The co-developed diploma programme will provide theoretical training such as Introduction to Drones and Technology, Drone Regulations and Compliance, Business and Entrepreneurship in Drones, Aerial Mapping, Drone Marketing and Sales, and Environmental and Wildlife Monitoring.
Students will also undergo industrial training as part of a course requirement and will be awarded a Diploma in Drone Management upon successfully completing the programme. Enrollment for the Diploma in Drone Management is now open at SRI College.
